1. Save Money
Planning a wedding can become extremely expensive. After spending possible tens of thousands on buying your engagement rings, wedding bands and wedding dress, you still have to spend even more money on venue rental, décor, food, alcohol, entertainment, wedding planners and the list goes on and on and on. It is not surprising many couples are left with a huge debt after getting married. By planning a destination wedding at an all-inclusive resort, you get to save money on venue rental, food, alcohol, décor and entertainment. These resorts already have these available for their everyday use; it will normally be included in whatever wedding package you purchase. In addition, the bride and groom can benefit from a free stay for inviting as little as 10 couples to join them on their special vacation.
2. Two For One
I considered added this as another cost saving initiative but figured it deserved a section of it’s own. When you plan a destination wedding, you do not need to worry about being able to afford a honeymoon because you can have your wedding and honeymoon at the same time. For a few thousand dollars, not only do you have your wedding planning logistics all handled, you also get to spend a few days or a week at an exotic tropical destination with amazing weather, beautiful beaches and overly friendly people. Use one day to get married and spend the extra days as your honeymoon.
3. Less Headache
Getting married is a lot of fun, and possibly one of the most special experiences of your life. However, the planning can sometimes get extremely stressful and time consuming. When you purchase a wedding package at any of the top resorts that specializes in destination wedding, you instantly save yourself hundreds of hours on planning and other logistics. These resorts deal with weddings on a daily basis, and they have fully trained teams, that are more than happy to take all the worries and organizational details off your hands.
4.Way More Fun
Ask your friends and family if they would rather be in a banquet hall in some local suburb or on a tropical island watching a beautiful sunset while standing on soft sand listening to the ocean waves. This experience normally comes with unlimited alcohol, nightly entertainment, daytime beach games, meeting a lot of awesome people and none of the daily worries of their regular day-to-day life. Ask yourself the same question. Option two wins for me every time, and I think almost everyone else will agree.
5. It’s A Better Option
When you look at all the pros and cons of having a traditional local wedding, verses a destination wedding, from all angles, getting married away just seems like a way better option. The only obstacle you may face is that some very important friends or family members that you want to attend may not be able to get time off work or may not be able to travel or afford the trip. However, you can fix these issues by giving everyone enough time to plan. It may not be convenient for all but it is your special day, so think about what’s best for you.
